Job Purpose
The Destination Marketing Executive will be responsible for playing an important role in the planning, delivery, and analysis of consumer marketing campaigns that drive footfall, spend, and engagement on Oxford Street, Bond Street, and in the broader West End.
The Destination Marketing Executive will provide support to the marketing department in all aspects of marketing projects, helping to organize physical and digital creative campaigns to encourage more people to visit the West End more often.
Responsibilities
- Reporting into the Destination Marketing Manager and working closely with the Head of Destination Marketing to ensure all marketing activity is aligned with the marketing strategy.
- Working with the marketing team in the running of events, campaigns, activations, and a dedicated tourism programme for key international territories.
- Working on the development and implementation of campaigns and always-on activity to increase brand awareness and drive web traffic, newsletter sign-ups, and footfall.
- Management of monthly consumer newsletters.
- Proactive stakeholder engagement – meeting members regularly to mine for suitable stories for our channels.
- Management of content calendar and storytelling pipeline, managing third-party writers, and ensuring timely publishing of articles on relevant channels.
- Working closely with our key agencies including: PR agencies UK & US, SEO and Digital, Social Media, Event.
- Create engaging content for digital channels, including websites, social media, email marketing, and online campaigns.
- Stay updated on industry trends to bring fresh and innovative ideas to campaigns.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging trends, visitor needs, and opportunities for destination growth.
- To process supplier invoices for approval and payment.
- To act as initial point of contact for members who wish to work with us.
- Daily maintenance and monitoring of destination website with support of third-party agency.
- Management of community management and content creation for social channels.

Requirements
- Proven experience in consumer marketing.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Need for attention to detail, ability to proof copy.
- Highly organized and adaptable, proactive, and anticipative.
- Excellent people skills and a flexible can-do approach.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Proven stakeholder management and ability to build strong relationships to deliver successful results.
- Demonstrable knowledge of high street retail and luxury brands.
- Effective time management, experience of working under pressure and towards a tight deadline.
- Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and reporting software.
- Highly proactive, self-motivated, and able to prioritize workload effectively.
- Creative thinker, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Content creation for digital and social channels.

Desirable but not required experience:
- Experience working with Google Analytics, Meta ads, and Mailchimp.
- Marketing experience in fashion, retail, hospitality, destination, or tourism sectors.
- Experience using AI and AI tools.
