Destination Marketing Executive (Entry / Junior)

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, creative, and organised Destination Marketing Executive to join our growing team in the United Kingdom.
This role is ideal for recent graduates, entry-level candidates, and early-career professionals who are interested in destination marketing, tourism, travel, communications, and visitor economy development.
You will support a range of destination marketing and promotional activities, working alongside experienced marketing and tourism professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical marketing skills, gain industry experience, and build a long-term career within the UK tourism and destination marketing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day destination marketing and promotional activities.
- Support the development and delivery of destination marketing campaigns.
- Assist with social media content, digital marketing, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Research tourism trends, visitor behaviour, competitor destinations, and market opportunities.
- Support the creation of destination-focused content, presentations, reports, and marketing materials.
- Assist with website content updates and digital communications.
- Coordinate with tourism businesses, attractions, accommodation providers, local partners, and other stakeholders.
- Support the planning and promotion of tourism campaigns, events, and visitor experiences.
- Assist with maintaining marketing databases, campaign records, and contact information.
- Monitor campaign performance and help prepare regular marketing reports.
- Support PR, media, influencer, and partnership activities where required.
- Assist with visitor research, destination insights, and market analysis.
- Help ensure destination messaging and promotional materials remain accurate, engaging, and consistent.
- Support wider tourism, destination development, and marketing projects.
- Contribute ideas for improving destination awareness, visitor engagement, and campaign performance.

- Eagerness to learn and develop marketing and destination management knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, Business, Communications, Events, Management, or a related field.
- Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous internship, marketing, tourism, hospitality, customer service, events, or administrative experience is advantageous but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is preferred.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing tools, content management systems, or email marketing platforms is beneficial.
- Knowledge of tourism marketing, destination management, or visitor economy principles is an advantage.
- Strong English communication skills are required.
- Additional languages are considered a plus.
