🛠️ We’re Hiring: Destination Marketing Officer
📍 Remote (United Kingdom)
🕒 Full-Time
💼 Level: Entry-Level / Junior / Associate
💰 Base Salary: £3,000+ per month
We’re looking for a creative, organised, and results-driven Destination Marketing Officer to support the development and delivery of marketing campaigns that promote destinations, tourism experiences, attractions, events, and visitor opportunities.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about destination marketing, tourism, travel, digital marketing, content creation, and visitor engagement, and who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced, remote-first environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of destination marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Develop engaging content for destination websites, social media, blogs, newsletters, email campaigns, travel guides, and promotional materials
- Promote destinations, attractions, events, cultural experiences, tours, accommodation, and tourism products
- Support destination branding, positioning, messaging, and promotional initiatives
- Manage and maintain destination-focused social media content calendars
- Research visitor trends, travel behaviour, destination demand, emerging markets, and competitor activity
- Support paid and organic campaigns across Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms
- Assist with SEO, content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, and digital promotional activities
- Coordinate with tourism boards, travel agencies, hotels, airlines, tour operators, attractions, local businesses, and other destination partners
- Assist with influencer, affiliate, PR, partnership, sponsorship, and co-marketing campaigns
- Coordinate photography, video, destination guides, brochures, presentations, and other creative marketing assets
- Support destination events, tourism exhibitions, trade shows, promotional events, and industry activities
- Monitor website traffic, campaign performance, social media engagement, visitor enquiries, leads, and bookings
- Prepare campaign reports and identify opportunities to improve destination marketing performance
- Conduct market and visitor research to better understand traveller preferences and destination perceptions
- Maintain marketing calendars, partner databases, campaign documentation, and promotional materials
- Ensure destination information and marketing content remain accurate, engaging, current, and brand-consistent
- Stay up to date with tourism trends, destination developments, digital marketing changes, and consumer behaviour

✅ Requirements
- Entry-Level / Junior / Associate with 0–3+ years of experience
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Marketing, Tourism, Travel, Hospitality, Communications, Business, or a related field is a plus
- Strong interest in destination marketing, tourism, travel, hospitality, and digital marketing
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content creation abilities
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social media platforms
- Basic understanding of SEO, email marketing, paid advertising, content marketing, and social media strategy
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Canva, CRM systems, or similar tools is a plus
- Strong research, analytical, and organisational skills
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns, projects, partners, and deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Passion for destinations, travel experiences, culture, and visitor engagement
- Based in the United Kingdom with the legal right to work in the UK
