🛠️ We’re Hiring: Destination Specialist (Entry-Level / Junior / Associate) 📍 Remote (United Kingdom) 🕒 Full-Time 💼 Level: Entry-Level / Junior / Associate

We’re looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Destination Specialist to provide expert guidance on destinations, travel experiences, and holiday planning. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about travel, enjoys researching destinations, and can turn customer preferences into personalised travel recommendations.

You’ll work closely with customers, travel suppliers, tourism organisations, and internal teams to create memorable and well-planned travel experiences.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations on selected domestic and international destinations
  • Understand customers’ travel preferences, budgets, interests, and requirements
  • Recommend suitable destinations, accommodation, tours, attractions, activities, and travel experiences
  • Create personalised itineraries and destination recommendations
  • Research destinations, including attractions, transport, accommodation, events, seasonal considerations, and local experiences
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date destination information to customers and internal teams
  • Respond to customer enquiries through email, phone, chat, and other communication channels
  • Work with airlines, hotels, tour operators, attractions, cruise companies, and local tourism partners
  • Support the development of destination guides, travel resources, itineraries, and promotional materials
  • Assist with destination marketing campaigns and travel promotions
  • Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve destination recommendations and travel products
  • Stay informed about travel trends, new destinations, entry requirements, seasonal changes, and tourism developments
  • Maintain accurate destination information, supplier details, and travel resources
  • Support sales and customer service teams with destination knowledge and product information
  • Handle customer concerns and provide practical solutions to destination-related issues
  • Build strong relationships with customers and travel industry partners

âś… Requirements

  • Entry-Level / Junior / Associate (0–3+ years of experience)
  • Previous experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, customer service, sales, or a related field is a plus
  • Strong passion for travel, tourism, and destination experiences
  • Excellent knowledge or strong interest in UK and international travel destinations
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent research and information-gathering abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide personalised recommendations
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with travel booking systems, CRM platforms, or travel industry tools is a plus
  • Knowledge of travel regulations, destination requirements, and tourism products is advantageous
  • Additional language skills are a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple customer requests and deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Based in the United Kingdom with the legal right to work in the UK
