Pega CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect)
Job Title: Pega CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect)
Location: Telford, UK (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent
We are looking for an experienced Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) to join our team in Telford, UK. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable Pega solutions to support business transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and delivery teams to build robust and efficient applications using Pega best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance applications on the Pega Platform.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and application designs.
- Configure workflows, case management solutions, business rules, and integrations.
- Develop reusable components while adhering to Pega guardrails and best practices.
- Integrate Pega applications with external systems using REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, testing, and defect resolution.
- Support deployment, release, and production activities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with architects and business analysts to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Pega application development.
- Strong experience with Pega Infinity / Pega 8.x platforms.
- Case Management
- Workflow Automation
- Business Process Management (BPM)
- Integrations and Decisioning
- Data Pages and Report Definitions
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and software development lifecycle.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills
- Pega LSA certification.
- Experience within UK Public Sector, Financial Services, Banking, or Insurance domains.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
- Experience working in client-facing delivery environments.
