Developer (JavaScript/SQL) | Hybrid

About the Role

We are seeking a Developer to support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of a new practice management and financial system. This role combines application development, process automation, reporting, systems integration, and stakeholder engagement to deliver business-critical solutions.

You will work closely with technical teams, project stakeholders, and end users to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions that improve business processes and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance workflows, web applications, document processes, and data collection solutions.
  • Build and maintain solutions using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL.
  • Gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Test, deploy, and support system upgrades, releases, and enhancements.
  • Produce user documentation, release notes, and training materials.
  • Investigate and resolve system issues and defects.
  • Collaborate with project teams, developers, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Commercial development experience within a professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures and database queries.
  • Experience using Git/source control repositories.
  • Ability to understand existing system architecture and integrations.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
