The Opportunity
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer with a strong web applications background to join their team. The What?
As a Senior Engineer, you’ll lead the development and optimization of web applications, primarily using PHP, with a focus on best practices and high performance. This role involves:

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Taking ownership of specific projects, guiding the technical direction, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality code.
- Contributing to architecture discussions, sharing insights on scaling and improving the infrastructure.
- Mentoring junior developers to foster growth and productivity across the team.
- Working closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in both production and development environments.

Tech Stack:
- PHP (experience with Magento is a plus but not required)
- MySQL or similar relational databases
- MVC architecture
- Front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Git for version control
