Wealth Management - 6-12 month contract - £500-550/day umbrella

We are partnering with a highly successful, international Wealth Management firm. The business has a complex, dual-era technology ecosystem and is currently facing an urgent timeline to deliver critical system integration and backend architecture projects.

About the Role

Historically, their team has managed a wide tech stack. They are now looking for an experienced, Full Stack or Backend Specialist to join the team and focus on accelerating their backend integration and core systems delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • This role sits largely on the backend, focusing heavily on executing a business-critical integration programme to meet strict upcoming deadlines.
  • Own the design, maintenance, and execution of robust data flows and integration pipelines, securely connecting core internal platforms and external third-party systems.
  • Build and consume production-grade, highly secure RESTful APIs and modern backend Web Services to allow seamless cross-application communication.
  • Handle complex database engineering tasks within a high-throughput environment, writing performance-tuned SQL Server (T-SQL) queries, stored procedures, and managing data indexing.
  • Utilise robust software engineering principles—including automated CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps—to ensure all backend systems remain resilient, fully auditable, and secure by design.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
