Apple’s Worldwide Developer Relations team (WWDR) provides the services, resources and guidance that empower the world’s most dynamic developer community to push the boundaries of innovation and bring the next big app ideas to Apple’s platforms for customers worldwide. WWDR also offers programs to help developers connect with experts, learn about the latest Apple tools and technologies, and adopt best practices to supercharge app development. We are seeking a creative and dedicated Technology Evangelist to join our WWDR team.
DESCRIPTION
You will work directly with developers to deliver fun and compelling apps and games experiences to our customers. This means working closely with world-class engineers and designers to help them understand how to build modern, state-of-the-art apps and games, leveraging advanced technologies like AIML and Spatial computing across all Apple platforms.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in Swift, Objective-C, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience with building visually engaging user interfaces using UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experienced at presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in computer science/maths/physics (or equivalent work experience).
- Previous experience within an App development role would be beneficial.
- Deep understanding of Apple's technology and software development tools and platforms.
- Deep understanding of AIML, associated developer frameworks, and broad understanding of alternative tools, technologies, and approaches to ML.
- Ability to see around technological corners and help and inspire developers to push the boundaries of AIML and Spatial computing.
- Robust understanding of the differences between LLM’s and SLM’s and the application of each to Mobile and Desktop computing use cases.
- Ability to design intuitive user interfaces and optimize user experience, in line with Apple’s HIG and design patterns.
- Proven experience with coding techniques and best practices for energy saving, performance optimization, security, accessibility, and localization.
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships to effectively communicate Apple’s platform message and benefits to developers.
- Great listener with the ability to rapidly understand the other party’s needs and evaluate a range of solutions.
- A strong understanding of Apple’s graphics stack is a huge plus but not essential.
- Experience in developing immersive and AR spatial applications.
- Experience of Enterprise visionOS Applications and use cases.
- Innovative and passionate about pushing on the cutting edge of spatial computing.
- Creative at thinking / inventing and communicating new and innovative use cases for developers to engage with.
