The Role
Let’s talk numbers. When it comes to UK retail, it’s hard to find a bigger name. We sell thousands of items an hour and are expanding our e-commerce business by the second. For anyone in Tech, this is the place to learn. To grow. And to thrive.
Stock & Pricing are pivotal to ensuring our fantastic products are always available, both in our stores and for online customers. Stock & Pricing support all our Partners by making sure that the right stock is in the right place and at the right price. Be it in physical stores, websites or wholesalers both in the UK and internationally. We do all of this whilst using robust modern development methodologies and tools allowing us to redesign our complex legacy systems into modern new architecture. In retail today, few areas of expertise are as important as this.
What You’ll Take On
You will work to design, develop and support both new business solutions as well as our pre-existing mainframe products. This involves all aspects of the development lifecycle and requires a flexible and innovative mindset with a positive attitude.
You will provide analysis and programming skills in core languages, and gather user requirements and produce sustainable and efficient solutions following Agile methodologies. You will design, code, maintain and support business critical systems which are used 24/7, 365 days a year. You will develop in both a batch and online environment adhering to relevant standards and working closely with our user community to provide both technical and non-technical advice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
