We have a new opportunity for a Development Account Manager to join our NPD team at Ultrapharm bakery in Pontypool, part of the Finsbury Food Group.

- Prepare and manage customer documentation, benchmarking activities and product reviews.
- Work closely with Process, Production and Technical teams to ensure product feasibility, food safety and compliance requirements are met.
- Coordinate factory trials, support pre-production and launch activities, and ensure effective handovers to operational teams.
- Provide regular project updates, manage packaging artwork approvals and help resolve any issues that may impact delivery timelines.
- Conduct post-launch reviews to identify successes, lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement, supporting the ongoing growth and success of the product portfolio.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
