Canford School is a leading co-educational boarding and day school set in 250 acres of beautiful parkland in Dorset, educating around 660 pupils aged 13–18. With an outstanding reputation for academic achievement, exceptional facilities and a vibrant community, this is an exciting time to join the School as it develops its future as part of the new Canford Schools Group.
We are looking for an organised, reliable and approachable Administrator to join our Admissions & Development teams on a full-time temporary basis until the end of December 2026.
This is a varied role providing day-to-day administrative support across both departments. You will be responsible for:

- Maintaining accurate records and databases
- Responding to enquiries
- Liaising with external organisations and alumni
- Updating website content
- Supporting the planning and organisation of events
We are looking for someone with:
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good IT skills, including experience with Word, Excel and Outlook
- Previous administrative experience in an office, school or voluntary setting would be advantageous
You will be a confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner, able to work independently, manage competing priorities and handle confidential information with discretion.
