About Canford School

About the Role

We are looking for an organised, reliable and approachable Administrator to join our Admissions and Development teams on a full-time temporary basis until the end of December 2026.

This is a varied role providing day-to-day administrative support across both departments. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and databases, responding to enquiries, liaising with external organisations and alumni, updating website content, and supporting the planning and organisation of events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate records and databases
  • Responding to enquiries
  • Liaising with external organisations and alumni

Key Requirements

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good IT skills, including experience with Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Previous administrative experience in an office, school or voluntary setting would be advantageous
