Company Description

HermeticaBlack focuses on the investment, development, and asset management of energy and infrastructure projects, helping accelerate the transition to more secure, cost-effective, lower-carbon energy systems. The organization works across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage feasibility through construction, operation, and long-term asset management.

Role Description

The Development and Asset Manager will oversee the end-to-end development and ongoing management of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to performance targets.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Managing project pipelines
  • Coordinating feasibility studies
  • Supporting technical design and planning applications
  • Leading stakeholder engagement with partners, investors, and regulators

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Central London, with a mix of on-site work and the flexibility to work from home.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project development or project management within energy, infrastructure, or related sectors, including coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing timelines and budgets.
  • Knowledge of decentralized or renewable energy and infrastructure systems, grid connections, and relevant regulatory or planning frameworks in the UK or similar markets.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including ability to work with project models, performance data, and commercial contracts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience collaborating with investors, local authorities, technical consultants, and community partners.
  • Proficiency with common office and project tools (e.g., MS Office, project management software) and comfort working with digital collaboration platforms.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work across multiple projects, and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy, finance, business, or a related field; equivalent professional experience is also valued.
  • Prior experience in asset management, operations, or performance optimization of energy assets is an advantage.
