New Homes Development Assistant
New homes start with careful planning and coordination behind the scenes. We're looking for a Development Assistant to support our New Homes Delivery team, helping manage our on-site programme and pipeline development, and playing a key part in delivering homes for our community.
We own and manage c.8,000 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. We build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes.

Please note, this role is on a 12 month FTC.
Outline of Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining electronic files and filing systems, collating key documents and legal files, and making sure all the information needed for key documents is in place
- Monitoring valuation expiry dates and rent checks, to make sure properties can be let on time
- Keeping scheme audit and charging files up to date, assisting with the charging process and resolving queries, including gathering information for internal teams to calculate new development service charges
- Coordinating handover and post-handover documentation, making sure accurate information is shared across the business, including compliance checks, void times and progress updates with other teams
- Handling general enquiries, internal and external, across all forms of communication relating to development projects and programmes
- Updating relevant reports when programme updates or changes come in
- Liaising with colleagues, external consultants, local authorities and other organisations, providing documentation as needed, and collating information for the Development team to share with the wider business through reports and presentations

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
- Extensive experience in administration, including proven use of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Experience working in a customer-facing role, providing excellent customer service
- The ability to organise their own workload and establish priorities with minimal supervision
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines

- An annual salary of £28,137.59 (12 month FTC)
