Development Chef | £45,000 | London
A critically acclaimed, independently-owned restaurant known for its bold, seasonal approach to British cooking is looking for a Development Chef to join its growing team.
This isn't a senior appointment, it's an opportunity for someone with genuine hunger to break into food development. You'll bring energy, curiosity, and a real drive to learn, and you'll be given the platform to grow fast within a kitchen that's serious about creativity, sustainability, and pushing menus forward.
Development Chef role:
- Support the development of new dishes and seasonal menus alongside the senior culinary team
- Research ingredients, techniques, and trends to bring fresh ideas to the table
- Assist with recipe testing, costing, and refining dishes for consistency and quality
- Work closely with head chefs and section chefs to understand how development translates into service
- Take ownership of projects as your confidence and experience grow
