Description

Amazon MGM Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing Original films, television series, and unscripted content for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

We are now seeking a Development Coordinator to support our Unscripted department in UK. This role involves serving as the operational backbone of our creative development process, managing diaries, supporting pitch intake, helping with talent and production company engagement, ensuring seamless execution across our development pipeline. The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced creative environments. They understand the rhythm of development, can juggle multiple work streams simultaneously, and know how to keep projects moving forward. Equally comfortable managing logistics and interacting with creative talent, they bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to everything they do. The successful applicant will assist the creative team with numerous projects in various stages of development and production, oversee a high volume of submissions, coordinate meetings, and attend frequent meetings with industry professionals.

Key job responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate development and production related meetings from start to finish; diary management for multiple senior executives, proactively managing complex schedules across the team
  • Support executives on creative evaluation and assessment
  • Support the Creative administrative processes as projects progress through the pipeline, ensuring key milestones are hit and deadlines are tracked
  • Serve as a cross-functional liaison across internal stakeholders to drive alignment and execution
  • Oversee end-to-end pitch submissions
  • Maintain internal tracking systems and close the loop on all pitch outcomes
  • Administrative support including travel arrangements, expense management, tech support and facilities coordination
  • Supporting the planning of team events and cross-functional meetings as required

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in studio or production company assistant, or experience as a creative executive
  • Experience assessing industry talent and trends
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Experience handling confidential information
  • Experience as an assistant in an unscripted department at an agency, studio or unscripted production company
