We are looking for a DevOps engineer to join our systems integration department at our offices in Majadahonda.
The Main Functions Are
- Telephone/on-site support for customers regarding Avalon applications.
- Fault diagnosis.
- Attention to service requests.
- Incident tracking and status.
- Knowledge of the accounts under their responsibility/contact persons on the part of the client.
- Customer training.
- On-site/office implementation and training for the systems, in the accounts assigned.
- Coordination of training courses under his/her responsibility.
- User manual documentation.
- Configuration and platforming of equipment, based on the accounts assigned to you.
- Procedure documentation.

- Extensive knowledge of Linux system administration.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows system administration.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Administration and maintenance of database servers (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Server monitoring.
- Scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python, PHP, etc.)
- Network management and administration (routing, VPN, iptables, etc.)
- Basic level of English (written/spoken).
- Wide availability of hours.
Knowledge Of The Following Is Desirable
- Virtualization (VMware).
- Knowledge of the Amazon AWS platform.
- Backup management (Veeam backup, Windows, and scripting).
- Experience in application server management (Tomcat, etc.)
- Knowledge of security (firewall, IDS/IPS, proxy, antivirus, encryption, bastion, best practices).
- Experience in DNS/DHCP server management.
- Experience in Active Directory management: synchronization, groups, security, etc.
- Knowledge of DevOps philosophy is desirable.

Main Activities To Be Performed
- Support and direct contact with the development team.
- Linux and Windows system administration.
- Infrastructure maintenance and management.
- Incident management and provision of support to both corporate and customers.
- Other responsibilities will involve improving IT management processes and software distribution.
- Support for the deployment of applications in production and their subsequent monitoring.
- Research and incorporation of new practices that improve existing ones.
