🚨 NEW ROLE | DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE – COMMERCIAL INSURANCE 🚨 📍 London | Reading | Maidstone | Southampton | Guildford 💰 Up to £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits 🏠 Hybrid Working
I’m currently working with a well-established commercial insurance broker that is investing heavily in growth across the South and looking to appoint an ambitious Development Executive.
This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys winning new business, getting in front of clients and building long-term relationships.
You’ll have the autonomy to develop your own client portfolio, backed by an experienced broking and placement team.
The Role
- Generate new business across cross-class commercial insurance
- Build and manage your own sales pipeline
- Meet regularly with business owners and key decision-makers
- Generate opportunities through networking, referrals and market engagement
- Develop and convert larger commercial risks, including £60k–£70k+ GWP premiums
- Work closely with broking and placement teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Build long-term client relationships and grow your portfolio
- Consistently achieve new business targets

- Commercial insurance experience with strong cross-class knowledge
- Proven new business and business development experience
- Comfortable developing larger commercial cases
- Confident meeting clients face-to-face
- Commercially minded, proactive and target-driven
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Someone who wants the autonomy to build their own book of business
