Job Title

This role is a part-time role, working 4 days a week with the potential to become full time, the closer to Red Nose Day.

Please note this is a hybrid role based on the successful candidate working at least two days a week in our London office. Remote contracts would not be considered for this role.

Comic Relief reserves the right to close the role early if a large number of applications are received.

Purpose of Job

We are looking for an experienced Development Executive to join the team shaping Red Nose Day's comedy output.

We're looking for an exceptional creative with a deep understanding of the current comedy landscape and a passion for developing ambitious ideas that bring together the biggest names and brightest emerging talent.

Working closely with Comic Relief and BBC Studios, you’ll help develop original comedy concepts, partnerships and on-screen moments that feel fresh, relevant and genuinely exciting, whilst remaining true to Comic Relief's unique spirit. This role requires someone who can originate and deliver standout ideas, build strong creative relationships and identify opportunities that create both cultural impact and fundraising success.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
