Job Description

Overview

This role is a part-time role, working 4 days a week with the potential to become full time, the closer to Red Nose Day.

Please note this is a hybrid role based on the successful candidate working at least two days a week in our London office. Remote contracts would not be considered for this role.

Comic Relief reserves the right to close the role early if a large number of applications are received.

Purpose of Job

We are looking for an exceptional Development Executive to join the creative team behind Red Nose Day.

This is a rare opportunity to help evolve one of Britain's most loved fundraising events. We're looking for a highly creative, audience-obsessed development expert who can generate and deliver ambitious ideas that stop people in their tracks, create genuine buzz and make Red Nose Day feel unmissable.

Working closely with Comic Relief and BBC Studios, you’ll help shape a night of television that surprises audiences, sparks conversation and delivers joyful, impactful fundraising at scale.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
