New Development Role - East Midlands - Living Sector

Property development requires a combination of commercial instinct, sound judgement, and the ability to turn an opportunity on paper into a successful scheme. For someone who enjoys the variety of that journey, this is an opportunity worth exploring.

An established property investor-developer in the East Midlands has a healthy pipeline of opportunities and a clear appetite to continue growing its portfolio. With projects to progress and further sites to pursue, there is scope for an experienced development professional to make a meaningful contribution to both the existing pipeline and the future direction of the business.

Role Overview

The appeal lies in the breadth of the role. From appraising opportunities and assessing viability through planning, design, and delivery, to seeing projects through to completion, you will have the opportunity to remain involved throughout the development lifecycle. It is a position that calls for someone who enjoys looking at the bigger picture, understanding where value can be created, and navigating the practical challenges that come with bringing a scheme forward.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
