Role Overview
The Development Manager’s role is to plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of the Internet Business Applications. The Development Manager is also responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing application systems and software in collaboration with the Architecture team. This individual will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide Internet Business Development team on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of Internet Business Applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage development and deployment of new and existing applications for Mouser.com.
- Develop, lead and motivate engaged work teams by hiring, training, and managing the software development team.
- Provide technical leadership and support to the wider Internet Business team.
- Ensure development projects meet business goals and resolve systems issues.
- Evaluate projects, recommend solutions, and improve existing applications.
- Research and recommend software products and services.
- Develop and implement team policies and procedures.
- Communicate progress and status to senior management.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain confidentiality.
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques.
- Works with minimum supervision and makes independent judgments.
- Flexible to meet the changing needs of the business and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a similar field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Proven people management and leadership abilities.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with modern technologies, including React.
- Background in API-first or microservice-based environments.
- Knowledge of current information systems industry trends and technologies.
- Experience in Ecommerce would be a plus.
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish, track, and achieve team goals.
- Experienced in hiring, training, and coaching personnel.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with effective multi-tasking skills.
- Profound language skills in English and local language and excellent communication skills across all levels.
- Professional demeanor and strong ethical standards.
- Maintains confidentiality and trustworthy relationships.

The salary range for this position is GBP 75,000 - GBP 85,000
