Ready to take your career global? Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Senior Development Manager to join our ever-evolving Global Merchant and Partner Experience Engineering team and help shape the future of global commerce.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage full software development lifecycle including testing, implementation, and compliance processes.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams and other stakeholders through product design, bug verification and go-live phases.
- Collaborate with Product managers, Architects, SRE and other stakeholders for ensuring successful delivery.
- Take full ownership of Software Delivery from design to production deployment for the Products/Projects/Epics assigned to you.
- Work with managers/supervisors to identify and allocate technical resources, e.g., programmers, business analysts to projects within Development. This would include a mix of FTEs assigned to the development organization and contractors.
- Ensure applications meet appropriate quality standards and adhere to the organisation’s application development and delivery process standards.

What you’ll bring
- The ability to communicate with clarity and influence, building credibility with Engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Skill in project management, organization, communications, and team management.
- Skill in leading, supervising and managing effectively under pressure.
- Ability to be comfortable interacting with senior/executive management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and problem areas.
- Ability to lead, direct and manage effectively.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- A ‘think like a client’ mindset - understanding what matters most, and confidently leading consultative, value-driven conversations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking to navigate challenges and resolve issues effectively.
- A proactive, accountable approach - taking ownership, acting early, and delivering great client outcomes.
- A genuine interest in Global Payments’ products and the wider payments industry, with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
