Role: Development Producer

Fully Focused Productions is looking for a highly experienced Development Producer to join the development of our new Gen Z factual entertainment format exploring health, wellbeing, community and climate through a fresh, entertaining lens.

Responsibilities

  • Help us sharpen the format engine
  • Develop compelling challenges and contributor journeys
  • Build a brilliant, commissioner-ready format bible and pitch

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 broadcast credits in relevant Fact Ent/Format Entertainment development
  • Strong understanding of what makes a returnable format work
  • Experience developing challenges, format beats and contributor-led stories
  • Excellent writing and pitching skills
  • Strong knowledge of the current UK commissioning landscape
  • An instinct for entertaining, funny, accessible television
  • Strong understanding of inclusive casting
  • Experience developing youth-skewing content and/or formats spanning broadcast and digital would be a real bonus
  • Self-shooting skills a bonus but not a dealbreaker

Contract Details

  • Approx. 4 weeks freelance, worked part-time/flexibly across a few months
  • Rate: TBD based on experience
  • Start: Early October (interviews online late Sept)
  • Location: London/hybrid
