NOW HIRING: VIC ROYE TALENT

Role

Development Producer

Project

Funded Format Development for Global Streamer

Start

ASAP for 6-8 weeks TBC

Location

London

I’m looking for a brilliant Development Producer to join a focused development period on an exciting new entertainment / factual entertainment format for a global streamer.

This is very much one for someone who LOVES the nuts and bolts of format development.

Someone who wants to pull an idea apart, work out exactly what happens and when, find the missing beat, reveal or twist and keep pushing until the whole thing clicks.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Can

  • Really drill down into the format engine – episode journeys, beats, reveals, twists and overall series architecture
  • Build an immersive world around an idea and understand how to create unscripted television that can feel as compelling and structured as scripted
  • Bring a brilliant instinct for character, tone, humour and smart entertainment
  • Write really well – articulating creative ideas simply, excitingly and with personality
  • Create sharp, visual and persuasive decks – strong Canva / deck-building skills are important
  • Understand what makes a format land and how entertainment ideas need to work for the platform

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Previous Streamer development experience would be a big bonus, particularly if you've successfully developed formats for a global streamer, but brilliant format craft is the most important thing.
