Develop Innovative Products from Concept to Launch
Pilgrim's Europe is looking for a passionate Development Technologist to join our Product & Innovation team in Bromborough.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a food-related qualification or experience within food manufacturing who is looking to build their career in New Product Development (NPD). You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to help deliver exciting new and existing products from concept through to launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) projects.
- Develop products in line with commercial, nutritional, quality, and operational requirements.
- Prepare customer samples for product submissions and presentations.
- Support projects through the Pilgrim's Europe Stage & Gate process.
- Generate and maintain development documentation and customer submission paperwork.
- Work closely with Operations, Technical, Process, and Packaging teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Support the development of the innovation pipeline in line with manufacturing capability and customer requirements.
- Assist with customer presentations, tasting sessions, and product evaluations.

Essential
About You
- Food-related qualification or equivalent experience within the food industry.
- Passion for food, innovation, and consumer trends.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines.

Desirable
- Experience within a food manufacturing, NPD, Product Development, or Innovation role.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Knowledge of retailer product development processes.
