Your Responsibilities

  • Receive, register, and process medical equipment efficiently, using our systems to track items throughout the Service & Repair Centre
  • Clean and disinfect endoscopes and other medical and surgical equipment, following established safety and quality procedures
  • Operate specialist cleaning and sterilisation equipment, including Endoscope Washer Disinfectors and sterilising systems
  • Inspect equipment and accurately record any faults, processing information and required documentation
  • Ensure equipment is processed correctly and within agreed turnaround times, maintaining consistently high standards of quality
  • Keep your working area clean, organised, and safe, following 6S principles
  • Work closely with colleagues and internal teams, providing a helpful and reliable service

Your Qualification

  • Able to follow detailed instructions, procedures, and quality standards accurately
  • A strong team player who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good attention to detail, with the ability to identify and accurately record faults or issues
  • Good manual dexterity and confidence handling medical equipment carefully.
  • Comfortable in a physically active role, including being on your feet for much of the working day.
  • A good awareness of Health & Safety and safe working practices
  • Knowledge of manual handling techniques or a basic technical understanding would be beneficial, but is not essential to apply
