DevOps & Agentic Pipeline Engineer — Contract-to-Hire

Reporting to the Senior App & Platform Engineer. You'll build our own pipelines and agent harnesses, not configure someone else's SaaS product, across a multi-cloud ecosystem spanning AWS, Azure, and GCP. This is the infrastructure and the practices that let AI agents actually do engineering work here: how they're given tools, how they're constrained, how they operate inside CI/CD, testing, and deployment. The goal is velocity, across every project we run.

That means owning CI/CD and testing across multiple apps and cloud providers, but building the harnesses and tooling in-house rather than bolting on a vendor product, and setting the practices other engineers follow when they build agentic workflows of their own. You're not shipping one AI feature. You're building the infrastructure and the standards that make agentic engineering work safely and consistently, across every cloud and every project we have.

What you'll work on

  • Build our own CI/CD pipelines and agent harnesses in-house — not configuring a vendor's off-the-shelf product, building the real thing.
  • Design the harness layer: how agents get tools, what they're allowed to touch, how their actions get logged and reviewed.
  • Set the practices for agentic development across the team — the patterns other engineers follow when they build agent-driven workflows of their own.
  • Make all of it work consistently across a genuinely multi-cloud ecosystem: AWS, Azure, and GCP, not whichever cloud happens to be easiest.
  • Give agents the guardrails they need to run safely: permissions, sandboxing, audit trails, rollback paths.
  • Build a testing strategy that works across multiple apps, tenants, and clouds, and that agents can run and interpret on their own.
  • Own release safety — rollbacks, canary or blue-green deploys, gates that catch a bad release whether a human or an agent triggered it.
  • Instrument the pipeline so you can measure velocity: what's faster because an agent is doing it, and where the bottlenecks still are.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we're looking for

  • You've built CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure from scratch, not just configured a managed product.
  • Real, hands-on experience building agent harnesses or agentic tooling yourself, not just using someone else's agent product.
  • You've set technical practices or standards that other engineers actually followed.
  • Real, deep experience across a genuinely multi-cloud environment — AWS, Azure, and GCP, not just one with a second cloud bolted on.
  • You think about velocity as an infrastructure problem, not a motivational one.
  • You've built automated testing — unit, integration, end-to-end — for more than one application.
  • Comfortable managing several apps, projects, and tenants at once.
  • Solid scripting and automation skills, with real infrastructure-as-code experience.
  • You know how to give autonomous systems the right guardrails without slowing everything back down.
  • Strong English, written and spoken.
  • Some genuine interest in football — you don't need deep knowledge, just real interest in what this platform is for.
