Azure DevOps Architect
Location: Warwick - Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite
Start Day: ASAP
Contract Rate: £465 per day inside IR35
Duration: 6 months initially
Role Overview
Our client is seeking an Azure DevOps Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient Azure cloud platforms. The role focuses on Azure infrastructure, DevOps automation, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes platforms within a large enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and landing zones.
- Build scalable, secure, and cost-effective Azure environments.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and platform deployments.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
- Implement GitOps practices and deployment automation.
- Design, deploy, and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
- Manage Kubernetes security, networking, monitoring, Helm charts, and container workloads.
- Support release management, environment provisioning, and platform troubleshooting.

- Strong Azure architecture, networking, security, and RBAC expertise.
- Proven Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform.
- Hands-on Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions experience.
- Strong CI/CD and GitOps knowledge.
- Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS.
- Experience with Azure Container Registry (ACR) and Helm.
- Strong DevOps background, working across development and operations teams.
- Excellent troubleshooting, automation, and stakeholder management skills.
