Role Overview:
As a DevOps Consultant at Valorem Reply, you will play a key role in designing, delivering, and supporting modern cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure and the wider Microsoft ecosystem. Combining strong technical delivery skills with a consulting mindset, you will help customers modernise platforms, improve deployment and automation practices, and enhance solution quality through DevOps, testing, and integration capabilities. You will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and end users to understand business and technical requirements, deliver scalable and reliable solutions, and support successful adoption and operational readiness. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects across cloud engineering, automation, AI, and platform transformation while continuing to build your expertise in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure across a range of customer engagements and industry sectors.
- Deliver across the full solution lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, automation, optimisation, and operational enablement.
- Build and maintain modern DevOps capabilities, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
- Support and enhance container platforms, monitoring solutions, and cloud governance frameworks to improve reliability, visibility, and control.
- Contribute to the design and operation of hybrid cloud environments and support integration with legacy technologies where required.
- Participate in solution design, delivery planning, and technical discussions, working closely with customers and internal teams to achieve successful outcomes.
- Apply strong consulting and engineering expertise to deliver high-quality solutions, support customer success, and contribute to continuous improvement across Azure, automation, platform engineering, and cloud security.
About the candidate:
- A minimum Bachelor’s degree (2.1 or higher) is required in IT, Computer Science, or in a Technology-related field
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including compute, networking, storage, monitoring, and identity
- Practical knowledge of DevOps practices, including automated build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code, ideally with Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform
- Understanding of cloud governance, FinOps principles, landing zones, and security baselines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional customer-facing presence
- Demonstrable ability to work independently and within cross-functional delivery teams
