Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS & Azure

Locations: UK, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Turkey
Position: Fulltime Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience across AWS, Azure, infrastructure automation, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

The ideal candidate will have deep AWS expertise, good knowledge of Azure, and a strong understanding of infrastructure, automation, security, and production operations. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will be responsible for designing, automating, deploying, and supporting highly scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure.

We are looking for someone who can go beyond traditional operations and bring a development mindset, particularly with Python scripting/automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, automate, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
  • Take ownership of infrastructure architecture, deployment, reliability, and operational improvements.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Manage and operate Kubernetes environments in production.
  • Build and maintain Kubernetes deployments using Helm.
  • Automate configuration management and infrastructure tasks using Ansible.
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Develop Python scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Work with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and secure infrastructure operations.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, deployment, and production issues.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, security, scalability, and reliability best practices.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment, release processes, and overall platform reliability.
  • Support cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and automation initiatives.
  • Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve infrastructure and DevOps processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
