DevOps Engineer – Active DV Clearance Required
Location: Remote with occasional travel to client site (UK)
Contract: 6 Months
Rate: 500 - 600 GPB Per Day
IR35: Outside IR35
We're supporting a leading consultancy delivering critical national security programmes and are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with active DV Clearance to join an exciting project on an initial 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work on highly secure, mission-critical platforms using modern cloud and automation technologies within a collaborative engineering environment.
Essential Requirements
- Active UK Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance (must be current)
- Proven commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer in secure or government environments
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps or similar
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash or PowerShell)
- Experience with Linux administration
- Monitoring and observability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or ELK
- Excellent troubleshooting and automation skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work within multidisciplinary Agile teams

Desirable Experience
- Experience working within Defence, MOD, National Security or Central Government
- Configuration management using Ansible
- GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD or Flux
- Helm and Kubernetes administration
- Security hardening and compliance within classified environments
