About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with a focus on Cyber Security to join a forward-thinking organization on a fully remote basis. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in DevOps practices with demonstrable experience in cyber security environments. Essential qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in DevOps engineering, including CI/CD pipeline development and automation
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, with relevant certifications preferred
  • Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance standards in infrastructure and deployment processes
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and security
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of technical and strategic tasks, including:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications efficiently and securely
  • Establishing and managing monitoring solutions to track system performance, security, and uptime across various environments
  • Applying security best practices throughout the infrastructure and deployment processes to safeguard sensitive data and comply with industry regulations
  • Ensuring all systems and processes meet relevant compliance standards and security policies
  • Collaborating with development and security teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation strategies
  • Providing technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning
  • Participating in on-site meetings in Woking once a month to align on project objectives and updates
