What's it like working here

At TDS we uphold clear and unwavering values, fostering a community-oriented ethos that encourages close collaboration across our diverse disciplines. We hold regular team meet-ups, both online and in person, and monthly company wide social events. In addition, we organise company away weekends, which have previously taken us to cities like Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, Riga and Dublin. These trips offer the team a chance to unwind and strengthen connections outside of the office. It is important to us to create an environment where strong connections are built and camaraderie is nurtured within our team.

Offering full hybrid working patterns to align with today’s flexible work environment, our team is spread across the UK, with members based in and around Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, Inverness and Birmingham. We are proud to have our modern UK headquarters on the Quayside in Newcastle’s city centre, with stunning views of the Glass House. This office serves as a central base of work for everyone, providing a collaborative space for our team when they come together. In January 2026, we opened a new office space in the heart of Edinburgh’s Haymarket area for our Scottish employees to collaborate and host socials.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
