DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) - FinTech / Trading – Kubernetes, Terraform, Monitoring, Python, Go
Oliver Bernard are currently working with an FinTech / Trading up client of ours who are looking for a seasoned Kubernetes focused DevOps Engineer to join their team as part of broad expansion plans across the business.
A tight knit team who are changing the way things are done in their industry, they're looking for someone to step into their DevOps function to lead and drive their Kubernetes implementation, and to scale this whilst improving their IaC, Automation and Monitoring processes.

To be suitable for this position, you must be capable across all of the following:
Seniority / Leadership:
- Must have a strong pro-active 'builder' attitude
- Be capable breaking down business problems into a technical roadmaps
- Comfortable writing architectural design and then leading projects through to delivery
Hands-On Expertise:
- Expert Containerisation / Orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS in AWS)
- Primary experience as a Kubernetes Engineer, or in a heavy Kubernetes focused DevOps or Automation role
- Comfortable developing custom Kubernetes extensions in Go and Python
- Wealth of IaC experience with Terraform and Terragrunt
- Capable working in Python, Go or C++ driven environments (ideally comfortable from both coding and scripting perspectives)

Must-Haves:
- DevOps / Platform experience in high traffic environments
- Prior experience in FinTech or Trading environments
This is a hybrid position which requires four office days p/week and can offer £130-170K for suitable profiles ticking all the boxes.
