We are partnering with a large organisation delivering a critical UK public sector programme, renowned for its innovative contributions and significant impact. This entity is seeking to enhance its platform delivery, automation, and secure release capabilities.
The Role
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable, repeatable deployments
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated environment provisioning
- Support containerised platforms and orchestration to improve scalability and resilience
- Embed security and compliance controls into engineering workflows (DevSecOps)
- Drive observability improvements across monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Advise engineering teams on DevOps best practice and help remove delivery bottlenecks

What You'll Need
- 5-10+ years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or software engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- Proficiency with containers and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (networking, compute, storage, security)
- Experience with CI/CD tooling like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
