About The Role
Brio Partners is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join a key project supporting a national health organization. This is a contract position based in Leeds or London, offering a hybrid work arrangement with two days on-site per week. The primary responsibility will be to support and enhance a live digital health platform by managing infrastructure, environments, and pipelines. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in completing tenant migrations, preparing the platform for further Azure migration phases, and implementing platform hardening measures within a regulated and secure environment. This role demands a proactive individual with strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including networking, Front Door, Container Apps, Key Vault, DNS, and Storage solutions
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Bicep and Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps, including secure deployment practices
- Knowledge of identity management and authentication protocols involving Keycloak, OpenID, and external identity providers
- Strong understanding of certificate management, domain verification, and CNAME configuration
- Experience designing or supporting disaster recovery and failover strategies for cloud-hosted services
- Background working within regulated or highly secure environments, particularly in healthcare or public sector contexts
- Excellent documentation skills aligned with governance standards

Responsibilities
- Complete remaining tenant migration tasks, including infrastructure alignment, DNS setup, and environment configuration
- Prepare the platform for subsequent Azure migration phases by ensuring infrastructure readiness, network configuration, and pipeline updates
- Set up and maintain multiple environments such as Development, QA, Demo, Training, and Production, including container configuration, environment variables, and secrets management
- Create dedicated testing environments for performance and functional testing teams, ensuring stability and performance standards
- Restructure and optimize the Demo environment to facilitate tester access to databases
- Maintain and validate disaster recovery models, including failover procedures, static fallback pages, and Front Door routing during outages
- Implement platform hardening measures and respond to penetration testing findings to enhance security posture
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), deployment permissions, DNS records, and user offboarding processes within the Azure subscription
- Produce comprehensive infrastructure documentation in line with governance and compliance requirements
