DevOps Engineer – Fixed-Term Contract

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on DevOps Engineer to join TTC and support our growing portfolio of technology projects.

This is a practical engineering role for someone who enjoys working directly with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and deployment pipelines. You’ll work within our AWS-based environment, helping build, maintain, and improve the infrastructure supporting TTC’s platforms and systems.

You’ll collaborate with Senior DevOps Engineers, Product Owners, and development teams to solve technical challenges, understand priorities, and deliver reliable infrastructure solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and improving Kubernetes environments and AWS EKS clusters.
  • Building and supporting cloud infrastructure across AWS.
  • Working with Docker and containerised applications.
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based deployments.
  • Working with Git and GitHub for source control and collaboration.
  • Troubleshooting infrastructure and production issues.
  • Improving system reliability, security, scalability, and performance.
  • Automating infrastructure and operational tasks.
  • Creating clear technical documentation and effective handovers.
  • Working with project teams to understand priorities and focus on the technical work that delivers the most value.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
  • Strong practical knowledge of AWS.
  • Solid experience with Docker and containerised applications.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working with Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of GitOps and/or Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-moving project environment.
  • Clear communication and documentation skills.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute ideas while working as part of a technical team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with technologies such as ArgoCD, Kustomize, Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation, TeamCity, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana would be an advantage.
  • AWS or Kubernetes certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or CKA, are also welcome but not essential.

If you have a public GitHub repository or another example of your technical work, we’d be happy to see it as part of your application.
