The Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, container platforms, monitoring solutions, and Linux-based environments. The role focuses on improving system reliability, scalability, operational efficiency, and continuous delivery across enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery and deployment.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using Ansible.
  • Manage and support ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for centralized logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus and related tools.
  • Administer Linux servers, ensuring platform stability, security, and high availability.
  • Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Podman.
  • Develop automation and operational scripts using Bash, Shell, and Python.
  • Manage source code repositories and branching strategies using Git.
  • Troubleshoot application, server, infrastructure, and network-related issues.
  • Support networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers, SSL/TLS, and Firewalls.
  • Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and service improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with development, platform, and operations teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational best practices.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Good experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Operations.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline automation.
  • Hands-on expertise in Ansible automation and configuration management.
  • Experience managing ELK Stack environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Prometheus monitoring and alerting.
  • Linux administration experience (RHEL/CentOS/OEL).
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Podman containers.
  • Scripting experience using Bash, Shell, or Python.
  • Experience with Git-based version control systems.
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals, SSL/TLS, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.
  • Experience in troubleshooting production environments and supporting critical applications.
