About the Role
We're building something at Eurobase and we're looking for the right person to build it with us, not just the perfect CV.
Our DevOps function is growing. We're modernising how we build, release, and deploy software for the insurance sector, and we need someone who is curious about automation, motivated by problem-solving, and excited to develop deep DevOps skills over the next few years.
This isn't a role that demands 10 years of DevOps experience or a wall of cloud certifications. It is a role for someone who has dabbled in CI/CD, written a script to make their life easier, or supported a software release and genuinely wants to become excellent at this.
If you're currently working in support, development, infrastructure, or release coordination and you've been thinking "I reckon I'd love DevOps, but nobody will give me the chance" — we want to talk to you.
What You'll Be Doing
Don't worry if you haven't done all of this professionally yet. If you've done some of it, or understand the concepts, we'll teach the rest.
- Manage and improve our Azure Pipelines and CI/CD processes for .NET applications
- Automate build, test, and release tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Work closely with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot deployments and streamline delivery
- Maintain and monitor our development and production environments (Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, Azure)
- Contribute ideas to improve release speed, reliability, and transparency
- Help us embed DevOps best practices across the software development lifecycle

Who We're Looking For
You might currently be working as:
- Junior DevOps Engineer
- DevOps Engineer
- Build & Release Engineer
- Application Support Engineer
- Software Engineer (with some CI/CD exposure)
- Cloud / Infrastructure Engineer
- Systems Engineer
- Platform Engineer
- Graduate or Junior Engineer with Azure DevOps exposure

- Ownership if something's broken, you want to understand it and fix it
- Growth mindset you're motivated to build a career in DevOps, not just tick a box

Nice to have (but not mandatory):
- Some experience with CI/CD tools (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Basic scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Git version control experience
- Exposure to Azure or cloud platforms
- Understanding of software builds, deployments, and releases
- Familiarity with .NET or SQL Server environments
