Lead Cloud Security Engineer
Up to £100,000 & Bonus / Benefits London Office (Max 1x P/M)
I am exclusively working with a fast-growing, innovative Software company who are searching for a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join the team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join the business and spearhead the completion of some critical security and platform engineering projects, working across a broad and modern security tooling stack in a genuinely hands-on capacity.
You will take ownership of AWS security controls and governance, deploying and managing a wide-ranging toolset spanning endpoint detection, vulnerability management and network security; in turn building out automated, scalable security operations across the business's cloud and platform estate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AWS security controls and governance.
- Deploy and manage security tooling including CrowdStrike/SentinelOne, Tenable, and Cloudflare.
- Automate vulnerability management, patching, and security operations.
- Secure Kubernetes, containers, and serverless workloads.
- Build security automation using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Ansible, and scripting.
- Produce operational documentation, runbooks, and dashboards.
Key Requirements:

- 5+ years working across AWS Security tooling, including GuardDuty, Inspector, SecurityHub, Detective, Config, and CloudTrail.
- Strong experience patching and remediating vulnerabilities.
- Experience securing Kubernetes/EKS, containers, and serverless environments.
- Experience deploying and managing security tooling such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, and Tenable.
- Implementation and management of firewalls, preferably Fortinet.
