DevOps Engineer | £85,000–£110,000 | London (Hybrid, 1–2 days on-site)

My client - a fast-scaling company going through an exciting multi-year digital transformation - is looking for a DevOps Engineer to own their CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and developer tooling, while embedding strong security practices across the engineering environment.

You'll work closely with the engineering team to build reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure that supports rapid product delivery.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
  • Manage and evolve infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Own and improve AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
  • Build and maintain developer tooling to improve engineering velocity
  • Embed security best practices, supporting alignment with ISO 27001
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues
  • Contribute to architectural decisions around infrastructure and platform reliability

What you'll bring:

  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitHub Actions
  • Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code
  • Solid experience with AWS
  • Experience building and maintaining developer tooling
  • Strong security awareness, with familiarity with ISO 27001
  • Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects end-to-end
  • Good understanding of web fundamentals and cloud-native architecture
  • Strong problem-solving skills, comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
