Skills And Competencies
- Familiarity with cloud services and platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with source code management systems such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab
- Basic knowledge of Linux-based operating systems and a willingness to expand technical expertise
- Exposure to containerization technologies, including Docker
- Understanding of cloud and DevOps security concepts, including access controls, secrets management, and least privilege principles
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI is preferred
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation is preferred
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Support the design, deployment, and operation of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and DevOps platforms powering Moody’s products.
- Drive adoption of serverless architectures and container-based platforms to modernize applications and improve delivery efficiency
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code practices to improve consistency, governance, and compliance across cloud environments
- Build and maintain secure, scalable continuous integration and continuous deployment infrastructure that enables efficient software delivery
- Monitor and optimize Amazon Web Services resource utilization to balance reliability, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Administer software-as-a-service development tools and platforms to support secure and productive engineering workflows
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve operational excellence, automation, and platform reliability
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues while contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing across teams
- Evaluate emerging technologies, services, and industry best practices to enhance developer productivity, security, and scalability

About The Team
Our DC&I DevOps team is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of Moody’s global web platforms. We deliver scalable multi-region cloud infrastructure that supports high-traffic customer-facing products, provide automated deployment capabilities that enable fast and reliable software delivery, and safeguard critical platforms through monitoring, traffic management, and security best practices. By joining our team, you will gain hands-on experience across a modern DevOps technology stack and contribute to high-impact systems that support Moody’s digital products worldwide while working with innovative technologies that drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
