DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a large-scale transformation programme, working directly with client teams and programme stakeholders to support the successful build, deployment, and migration of critical applications.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and assuring DevOps pipelines, automation frameworks, and operational tooling that enable secure, scalable, and efficient software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application development and deployment.
  • Implement DevOps best practices, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Support application migration and deployment activities across development, test, and production environments.
  • Work closely with client teams, architects, developers, and operational teams to ensure successful programme delivery.
  • Develop and maintain deployment, monitoring, and operational tooling.
  • Improve release processes, deployment automation, and environment management.
  • Ensure platform reliability, security, performance, and operational resilience.
  • Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the DevOps lifecycle.

  • Strong experience in a DevOps Engineer role within complex enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, security, and operational best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
