About the Role
Impartner is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The DevOps Engineer will be a key player in the engineering staff and will participate in the planning and development of the company's most challenging projects.
The position is extremely engaging and rewarding for the right individual. The ideal candidate will be a mature DevOps Engineer with a strong list of achievements and demonstrable progression in capabilities. The candidate should be a top-notch problem solver with a keen focus on delivering quality solutions. The position requires a self-motivated individual with a very strong work ethic.

What You'll Do
- Hands on DevOps engineering tasks for our feature delivery teams.
- Build, author, and maintain Terraform modules for consumption by feature delivery teams.
- Build and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines in support of application and infrastructure delivery use cases.
- Work in a growing environment that has/uses Test Driven Development, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Perform activities in the project lifecycle such as requirement gathering, project estimating, testing, development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Security-first integration of multiple enterprise services.
- Research customer requirements and emerging software technologies and strategize an action plan for an engineering team, partnering with Application Engineers and (Security) Architects.
- Dedicated and willing to follow through with individual and team commitments.
- Potentially: DevOps activities, including monitoring, performance tuning, and defining scalable and optimized strategies for enterprise services and websites.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Three (3) years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Demonstrable proficiency and prior experience in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and authoring of custom containers, Kubernetes objects, AKS is a plus.
- Experience working with and authoring helm charts to drive deployment.
- Demonstrable experience with YAML based CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance, Gitlab CI/CD is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience with module-based Terraform development and a clear understanding of how to marry with microservice applications is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience with microservice architecture.
- Must have a strong background in break/fix application and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Must have strong demonstrable experience with at least one scripting language, PowerShell and Bash are a plus.
- Must be comfortable working in a mixed Linux and Windows environment.
- Demonstrable proficiency and prior experience in cost management and optimization of pipeline resources.
- Demonstrable proficiency working with telemetry and monitoring systems, New Relic, Application Insights, and Prometheus are a plus.
- Demonstrable proficiency and prior experience in working with development lifecycle and source control systems, preferably Git, Gitlab.
- Demonstrable proficiency and prior experience in Agile with JIRA, team collaboration, and public/internal correspondence.
- Demonstrable proficiency and prior experience in security-minded designs, implementations, and integrations.
- Demonstrable proficiency and prior experience with configuration management systems, Desired State Config (DSC) is a plus.
- Prior experience working with both IIS and nginx web and proxy servers.
- Prior experience working with and supporting .NET-based applications.
- Prior experience working with and supporting SQL and NoSQL-based data environments, MSSQL, and Mongo are a plus.
- Prior experience working with auto-scaling architecture and load balancing equipment is a plus.
- Can foster camaraderie with the engineering team and other professionals in the company.
- Proven team player with a can-do mentality.
- Comfortable synthesizing solutions from requirements without daily direction.
