DevOps Engineer - FinTech - Up to £80,000
You get to build and shape infrastructure at a company that is genuinely going places. This is a fast-growing FinTech with substantial backing behind it. That means real momentum, real resource, and a genuine appetite to do things properly rather than just patching problems together.
You will own your work here. The model is low bureaucracy and project-led, so you are not waiting weeks for sign-off or navigating layers of process just to make a sensible decision. You make the call, drive it forward and see it land.
Day-to-day, you will work across Azure Cloud, AKS and Terraform to build and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure. You are involved from the start of projects, not parachuted in at the end. That kind of creative ownership is rare, and here it is the norm.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You will also have genuine autonomy to lead the firm's monitoring and observability strategy. There is no prescribed toolset to inherit. You will assess what the business needs, define the right approach and choose the tools you believe will do the best job.
Hybrid, without the micromanagement
The official company line is three days a week in the office, but within the tech team the requirement is a minimum of one day per week in the office.

This is an adult environment. You are trusted to be productive and work where works best for you. The expectation is proper collaboration, not someone counting days at your desk.
You are someone who has been around the block enough to work with confidence but still has plenty of ambition to grow.
This is somewhere you can step up, take real responsibility and have a meaningful say in how things are built rather than waiting your turn.
