About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team at Darktrace. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats across our clients' networks and systems. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of digital assets by identifying vulnerabilities, investigating security incidents, and implementing effective mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or related roles.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as SIEM, intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Continuous monitoring of security alerts and logs to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities.
- Investigating security incidents to determine their root cause and impact.
- Developing and implementing incident response plans to mitigate risks and recover from security breaches.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance security policies and procedures.
- Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
- Providing security awareness training and guidance to internal teams and clients.
- Documenting security incidents, assessments, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
