About the Role
My client is seeking a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to join a platform team supporting critical legacy applications and infrastructure, providing L3 support, platform enhancements and CI/CD improvements.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience within DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering or Platform Support.
- Active SC Clearance (used within the last 12 months) and Active NPPV3 (used within the last 6 months).
- Experience supporting legacy applications and infrastructure, including Oracle 11 databases, Elasticsearch and enterprise middleware technologies.
- Strong Linux and Windows Server administration experience, with exposure to Solaris, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Docker and VMware environments.
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, ETL processes and Bash scripting.
- Knowledge of Nginx, Apache Tomcat/HTTP and monitoring/auditing integrations.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice to Have
- Experience with Java 8, Python, PL/SQL, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Git or AWS.
- Exposure to IBM Initiate MDM, MinIO or Cognitec FaceVACS.
- Experience with GIS technologies such as OpenLayers, TileCache or MapServer.
