The Role
My client is looking to add a DevOps Engineer to their team with some experience of using AI in production environments.
This role requires attendance on site 4 days per week.
The ideal candidate will stem from a background covering FinTech / Financial Services / Startups.
The role is broad and varied covering a number of different DevOps elements:
- End to end delivery and operations of DevOps environments
- Moving towards greater adoption of AI within the business
- Working on hybrid on-prem / Cloud architecture

Essential Skills
- Strong object orientated Python programming experience (not just scripting)
- Kubernetes
- GitHub / CI/CD
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform / Ansible
- Some knowledge of utilising AI within production environments
Desirable Skills
Some of these in addition to the essential skills would be useful:
- Experience building / deploying AI agents
- Strong knowledge across Azure / AWS
- Understanding of AI native services – Azure AI Foundry / Amazon Bedrock
- Cloud automation experience – AgentOps / DataOps frameworks (LangGraph / Dagster)
- Predictive operations tools – Prophet / Dynatrace
- AI tool integration – embedding LLM API’s / agents into pipelines
- Integrating DevOps infrastructure with MCP’s
- Infrastructure testing frameworks – Terratest / Terraform Test / Molecule / Junit / PyTest
- Cloud based Kubernetes – AKS / EKS etc.
- Advanced Linux / Windows administration
- Artifact repository management (Nexus / Artifactory)
- Observability – OpenTelemetry / Prometheus / ELK / Tempo / Jaegar
- Data platform – Kafka / Redis
- Chaos Engineering and testing – Gremlin / LitmusChaos
